Christine and Peter’s day was the perfect mix of relaxed and fun—a beautiful garden wedding set in Kincardine, Ontario, surrounded by the people who matter most to them. From the very beginning, there was an easy, laid-back feel that carried through every moment.
After getting ready, we headed to a nearby park for the first look and some portraits.
Their wedding took place on Christine’s parents’ property in Kincardine, a place that holds so many meaningful memories for them. It felt incredibly special to bring all of their family and friends together in a space that already meant so much.
After the ceremony, guests gathered at the back of the property for drinks, spilling out onto the deck and enjoying the relaxed setting.
After dinner, everyone was invited to take a short walk downtown to experience one of Kincardine’s traditions, with local pipers playing along the main street—such a fun and unique way to bring everyone together.
We spent some of golden hour down by the water and lighthouse, where the light was soft and everything felt a little quieter. The beach made the perfect backdrop for relaxed portraits—nothing overly posed, just the two of them together, taking it all in. It was such a peaceful way to step away for a few moments and capture this part of their day.
Back at the property, Christine and Peter shared their first dances, and the night naturally flowed into a fun, relaxed celebration with all of their family and friends.
Looking back on this day, it’s one that still stands out to me. I photographed Christine and Peter’s wedding in 2022, and going through these images again reminded me just how much I love what I do. They were such a fun, easygoing couple to spend the day with, and there was such a warmth to everything—from the people around them to the way the day unfolded.
